Thanks to the change of management, we can continue to offer y’all the usual inter-league tournaments.

The Champions League returns with the sixteen elite teams that qualified last season.
The BFFA Cup will bring all 40 teams together to challenge Sporting Wicker Park for the title.
The Best-ish tournament also pits all teams together in a simple challenge – to see who can scores the most league matchpoints.

⚽ Gameweek 38 – Leagues & Best-ish conclude.

The Premier League season kicks off on Friday 21^st August with Champions Arsenal hosting Championship Champions Coventry City.

For simplicity (and fun) we have reverted back to the previous version of the Champions League format.

Again, the first three weeks are reserved to allow everyone to balance their squads and utilise the transfer window

16 teams. Four groups of four, drawn at random (no seeded teams this season).

⚽ Group stages: Gameweeks 4-9: Six games each.
Top two go through to the Quarter-Finals. Bottom two eliminated.
⚽ Quarter-Finals: GW’s 11 & 12, after the international break.
Two legs. 1A vs. 2B, 1B vs. 2A, 1C vs. 2D, 1D vs. 2C.
GW13 is a midweeker, no CL ties.
⚽ Semi-Finals: Gameweeks 14 & 15
Two legs. 1A/2B vs. 1C/2D; 1B/2A vs. 1D/2C

Then The Final will be played immediately afterwards – Gameweek 16 – and we will have a Champion by Christmas.

BFFA Cup

Following the conclusion of the Champions League, the BFFA Cup will begin in GW21 with all 40 teams competing.

After Gameweek 20 (a midweek gameweek), the top 24 teams in the Best-ish table (charting everybody’s matchpoints total) will get a bye to the Second Round. The lower 16 teams will be drawn in the First Round. The draw will again be (unknowingly) made by The English FA on our behalf on Monday, January 11th, 2027.

With no playoffs this season, the leagues and the Bestish Table will once again finish after Gameweek 38.
