• Housewives Favourite’s Grand Slam was completed with a 97-90½ win over Beyer Neverleusen (who had beaten them 60-57 in GW24). Surprisingly, despite 40 players participating, only one goal was scored – Noah Okafor vs. Wolves, worth 6 points of Wives Fave’s 6½-pt win.
• Housewives Favourite are now guaranteed a top two spot 💪
• Beyer Neverleusen were the highest-scoring losers of the week (while sister team BtB were the highest-scoring winners), but maintain a five-point gap over Spray. However, better-scoring Smash & Grab are now threatening to steal 7th place when they play bottom side ATC this coming weekend.

• Barons FC are promoted back to the Premier League! 💪 Barons were, surprisingly, the only team that scored more than 6 goals (they got 9) in this double gameweek.
• Preliminary Version edge out ASG (by 3½ FPts, despite outscoring them 4-1 on goles) and climb to second.
• Barons’ 121 wasn’t the highest score in the Championship this week, Sporting Wicker Park outshone them with 126½. Surprisingly, their topscorer wasn’t on a double gameweek- Ollie Watkins scored 19 from just 90 mins against Sunderland!

• There were no changes in league positions here this week, but WdB and Bigger than Brolin are now just one point away from being promoted.
• That massive score for Bigger than Brolin brings them 50 matchpoints closer to the league leaders, still level on league points.
• A very rare Double Gameweek draw occurred in L1 this week, hindering both Stafford Stallions and Jaysokker’s ambitions to climb the table in the late stages of the season. Third-placed Stallions suffered a -1½ from Matty Cash after Villa conceded three, and Jaysokker received three yellow cards. Both teams had higher-scoring players stuck on the bench.

• Beedle’s Boys continue to dominate the division and will be promoted next week if they beat promotion-chasing BattleVAR Galactico.
• BVAR suffered a setback this week, losing to the BFFA’s second-best team of the week FPL Daddy (129 FPts), and that allowed WWW (5th-best this week overall) to move up to fourth and keep the pressure on FPL Daddy.
• AI-JP keep their narrow hopes of getting their volunteer team promoted with a 50-pt win over Goleta. They will need to win all five of their remaining games to stand any chance of challenging the top three, and their next three games are against 4th-, 3rd- and 2nd-place.
